Shaped by Scandinavian principles, FG Frameless Glass began in 1997, and introduced the frameless glass system to South Africa. It was the beginning of a local frameless glass company with purposeful design, precision and simplicity.
Nearly three decades later, FG has grown and evolved, but the standard behind the business remains the same:

FG Frameless Glass helps homeowners, businesses and building professionals choose a system that suits the opening and the way the space will be used. Our team handles the customer journey from the first conversation and site measurement through to project coordination and installation.
Our work includes frameless glass sliding stacking doors, glass balustrades, security shutters, aluminium pergolas, and aluminium gates and fencing. Each project begins with the same question:

Frameless Glass Systems
FG consults on, measures and installs sliding stacking frameless glass systems for patios, balconies and other openings where light, views and flexibility matter.

One Heritage, Two Specialist Roles
FG Frameless Glass and FG Manufacturing share a history, but they now perform different roles.
FG Frameless Glass
The customer-facing consultation and installation company. We help assess the space, recommend the relevant product, coordinate the project and install the finished system.
FG Manufacturing
The separate Cape Town manufacturer and supplier behind the signature FG systems, including the FG01 and FG03. Its team focuses on local production, engineering and supplying ready-to-install systems to accredited agents and industry partners.
This division keeps responsibility clear: FG Manufacturing concentrates on the system itself, while FG Frameless Glass concentrates on how that system is specified and installed for the customer.
